Review requests for landscapers.Written for landscaping and lawn care companies.

What a good one does

Updated

Landscaping review requests work best when the result is easy to see: right after a project is finished or after the first month of regular service. Ask every customer the same way, link to your Google review form, and invite a photo if they'd like to share one. Ask recurring clients once, not after every mow, and never offer a free service for a review.

Mistakes to avoid. We see these often.

  • Asking after every weekly visit until customers tune you out.
  • Offering a free mow in return for a review.
  • Asking crews to collect a set number of reviews each week.

Questions people ask.Short answers.

How often should I ask recurring clients?

Once, after the first month or at the end of the season. Asking after every visit wears out the goodwill.

Can customers add photos?

Yes, invite them if they'd like to. Never edit or supply photos for them.

Can my crew be given a review target?

No. Google doesn't allow asking staff to collect a set number of reviews.
