Review requests for electricians.Written for electrical contractors.
What a good one does
Updated
An electrician's review request works best once the customer has used the new circuit, charger or lights for a day. Ask every customer the same way, name the job in plain words, and link straight to your Google review form. Don't ask them to name the electrician, never offer a discount for a review, and send it whether the visit went smoothly or not.

Mistakes to avoid. We see these often.
- Asking customers to name the electrician. Google doesn't allow asking for reviews that name staff.
- Asking before the inspection has passed on permitted work.
- Only asking after quick fixes and skipping the jobs that ran long.
Questions people ask.Short answers.
When should an electrician ask for a review?
Once the work has been used for a day or has passed inspection. A same-day text works for simple repairs.
Can I mention the permit in the request?
Yes. Sending the sign-off with the request is useful, and it reminds the customer what was done.
Should I ask for reviews on several sites?
Ask for Google first. Yelp asks businesses not to request reviews at all.
