What a good one does

An HVAC review request works best soon after the system is running again, while the customer still remembers the hot or cold night. Ask every customer the same way, mention the job in plain words and link straight to your Google review form. Don't ask them to name the technician, don't offer a discount, and don't send it only to the happy ones.

When should an HVAC company ask for a review?

After the system has been running long enough for the customer to notice, often the same day for a repair and a day or two after an install.

Can my techs ask for reviews in person?

They can mention it, but Google doesn't allow pressuring customers to review while you're on site. A text after you leave is better.

Can I ask customers to mention the tech?

No. Google's policy doesn't allow asking for reviews that name specific employees.
