What a good one does

Updated

A med spa review request should invite honest feedback on the experience without asking clients to disclose treatments, share photos or rate results they can't see yet. Ask every client the same way with your Google review link, time it for when results usually show, and keep rewards, points and discounts completely separate from reviews.

    Review reply

Keep replies general. Don't mention treatments or confirm details about the client.

Mistakes to avoid. We see these often.

  • Offering loyalty points, a discount or a free add-on for a review.
  • Asking clients to post before-and-after photos with their review.
  • Asking for a review on the day of treatment, before results show.

Questions people ask.Short answers.

Can a med spa give points for reviews?

No. Google doesn't allow incentives for reviews, and US rules ban rewards tied to a positive review. Keep loyalty programmes separate.

When is the best time to ask?

When results are usually visible for that treatment, which may be days or weeks after the visit.

Should clients mention their treatment?

Let them decide. Don't ask them to describe treatments or share photos, and keep your replies general.
