Missed-call texts for garage door companies.Written for garage door companies.

What a good one does

Updated

A garage door missed-call text should find out whether a car is trapped or the door is stuck open, then set honest expectations on price. Reply within a minute, ask what the door is doing, warn against touching a broken spring, and give a call-back time. Never text a headline price that leaves out fees. One message with a STOP line, then wait.

  • Encouraging customers to adjust or release a broken spring.
  • A different business name on the text, the Google profile and the invoice.

Questions people ask.Short answers.

Can I put a price in the missed-call text?

Only a full price with every fee included. Google requires prices shown in garage door ads to include all fees and taxes, and customers expect the same everywhere.

What should the text say about broken springs?

Not to touch it. DASMA says parts under high spring tension should be handled only by a trained technician.

Does Advanced Verification cover texting?

No. It's Google's check for garage door ads, but the business name on your texts should match the one Google verified.
