Missed-call texts for house cleaners.Written for house cleaning companies.
What a good one does
Updated
A cleaning company's missed-call text should find out the type of clean and the size of the home, because those set the price. Reply within a minute, ask whether it's a regular, deep or move-out clean and how many bedrooms and bathrooms, and say when you'll send a quote. Leave first-clean discounts out of the reply, and include a STOP line.

Mistakes to avoid. We see these often.
- Asking customers to text alarm or door codes.
- Quoting a deep clean without asking the size of the home.
- Adding a first-clean discount, which turns the reply into a marketing text.
Questions people ask.Short answers.
What do I need to quote a clean?
The type of clean, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and anything unusual such as pets or an empty home. Two quick replies usually cover it.
Can customers send entry codes by text?
Ask them not to. Collect access details by phone or another secure method before the visit.
Should I offer a discount in the reply?
Not in the missed-call reply. An offer makes it a marketing text, which needs signed written consent under FCC rules.
