Pest control on Google.Set up to be chosen.
Categories, services, attributes, photos and a year of posts for pest control companies. Category names checked against public copies of Google's list on Nov 1, 2026; confirm them in your profile's category picker.
The short answer
Updated
Pest control companies should choose Pest control service as their primary category on Google Business Profile. Google's list has few pest-specific categories, so add secondaries like Bird control service only where you truly do that work, and describe each pest in your services list instead. Show your licence, set service areas, and post seasonal pest tips with your own photos.
Your categories.Primary first.
The primary category tells Google what you mainly are. Secondary ones add the other work you do.
Primary
Pest control service
It's the one core pest category in Google's list, and it's in both public copies we checked.
Bird control service
Use it when you install netting, spikes or other bird deterrents.
Animal control service
Use it when you remove wildlife such as raccoons or squirrels.
Skip it if customers might read it as the municipal service. Explain the work in your description.
Bee relocation service
Use it when you relocate honeybee colonies rather than treating them.
Services to add.The way customers say them.
Insects
Ant control, Roach treatment, Bed bug treatment, Wasp nest removal, Mosquito treatment
Rodents and wildlife
Mouse control, Rat control, Rodent exclusion, Wildlife removal
