Apple Business is Apple's free platform for managing how a business appears in Apple Maps, Safari, Spotlight and Siri. It replaced Apple Business Connect in April 2026, and existing place cards moved over automatically. Apple documents no link to Apple Intelligence. Yelp says it supplies content to Apple Maps, so your Apple place card and your Yelp page both shape what iPhone users see.

Does it work for businesses without a storefront?

Apple asks for a place card for each physical location. Service-area settings aren't described in the pages we checked, so it suits storefronts like dental offices best.
