Reddit is a network of discussion communities where people ask for and compare local recommendations. Google and OpenAI each announced agreements in 2024 giving them access to Reddit's data, and OpenAI said it would bring Reddit content to ChatGPT. There is no listing to claim: a business takes part through an account, and Reddit's rules require honesty and limit self-promotion.

Can I promote my business on Reddit?

Carefully. Reddit asks people whose posts are mostly links to their own business to think about how often they post, and each community's moderators decide what counts as spam.

Can I reward people for saying good things about us?

No. Reddit's rules for Reddit Pro say not to offer incentives to users to say positive things about your brand.

Does ChatGPT read Reddit?
