# Review requests for med spas: 8 texts and emails

> A med spa review request should invite honest feedback on the experience without asking clients to disclose treatments, share photos or rate results they can't see yet. Ask every client the same way with your Google review link, time it for when results usually show, and keep rewards, points and discounts completely separate from reviews.

## The templates

### 1. After a visit

```
### 2. When results usually show, a couple of weeks later
```text
Hi [Name], it's [Spa]. It's been a couple of weeks since your visit. If you'd like to share how it went, here's our Google review link: [review link] Reply STOP to opt out.
```
Time it for when results are usually visible for that treatment.
### 3. After a consultation only
```text

```
### 4. Members
```text

Never connect reviews to member points or perks.

## Mistakes to avoid

- Offering loyalty points, a discount or a free add-on for a review.
- Asking clients to post before-and-after photos with their review.
- Asking for a review on the day of treatment, before results show.

## FAQs

### Can a med spa give points for reviews?

No. Google doesn't allow incentives for reviews, and US rules ban rewards tied to a positive review. Keep loyalty programmes separate.

### When is the best time to ask?

When results are usually visible for that treatment, which may be days or weeks after the visit.

### Should clients mention their treatment?

Let them decide. Don't ask them to describe treatments or share photos, and keep your replies general.
