# RealSelf: does AI use it, and how to fix your listing

> RealSelf is a review and Q&A site for cosmetic treatments, where licensed providers have profiles with reviews and before-and-after photos. A basic profile is free, and RealSelf verifies licences and board certifications. We found no official statement that AI engines use RealSelf data. It strictly bans paid or incentivised reviews, so treat it as a place to answer patient questions well.

3. **Build the profile.** Add treatments, credentials and before-and-after photos you have consent to share.
4. **Answer questions.** Answer patient questions, without phone numbers or addresses, which RealSelf doesn't allow in answers.
